update2

Just finished editing Marc & Rhonda's wedding pictures. There were so many pictures to edit, more than any of my previous jobs before!! Very soon we will be printing the photobook, I can't post the pictures yet since they are not published yet but very soon, very soon indeed.

Also in another news I have re-designed our bink media wedding logo. As a growing designer I am never satisfied with my previous work, I always try to improve and better myself with each new project. I wasn't very satisfied with the feather logo so I decided it needed a new look. So here are two iterations that I will be using, the current BINK Media & Design logo will be phased out in about a year once we have used up all our business cards. Here is a preview of our new logo!

Imagine my excitement when I figured out that I can do this! Anyway, this is the other model that we had the pleasure to work with. She is Prasani and as you can see, she is indeed very beautiful.

    Hair Stylist: Melissa Noelle

I had the greatest opportunity to work with an amazing and talented hair-stylist this weekend. I contacted her on Model Mayhem a few weeks ago and was disappointed to hear that she had the whole summer booked already. Anyway it's pure luck that she chose me as her photographer for this shoot with is Native American/Aboriginal inspired.

I have to say this is probably one of the most intense shot of the day, I really love it! Many thanks to the model, Vickie-Lynn for giving us 200% commitment! I was really fired up because she really follows direction well. I wish to work with her some more in the future!

This is probably one of my favourite portraits that I have taken so far. In the history of my photographic career I have never loved anything so much as this photo right here and which is why this is a featured update! I have added it to the "Lifestyle" gallery so you can check out the rest.
As you may have noticed, the lovely young lady here has appeared in may of our photos, so many thanks go to her and her boyfriend and their lovely and most adorable baby boy!

Here is version 2.0! Finally after a few days of designing and redesigning and a few more days of coding! I managed to finish it! Again I wanted a clean site, something cool and easy to look at. The navigation looks complicated but trust me its really easy, I used no flash in the process (except for the already existing flash app in the galleries). Enjoy!

Part 1 of 6 in the Embrace Yourself

Hanna: Hi! Just an introduction to the Featured Updates. The images you see here are a special project I tackled for Ideas & Images. Seeing as I have moved on to my final year of Graphic Design I think I did pretty well on this assignment.

Anyway, I called the series "Embrace Yourself". The original title was "Secured" but I didn't quite like it so I changed it to a more appropriate title (and I really think it's a better title, it hits home and close to the heart).

The concept is about embracing your insecurities. The truth us, nobody is perfect. The fact that we try to hide our flaws is undeniable. But I believe these flaws is what makes us perfect; in our own way. If it weren't for the difference in everybody we would all be robots. The world is coloured by our differences.
